Biography
Federico Tasca has completed his PhD studies in 2010 at Lund University under the supervision of professor Lo Gorton and working with bioelectronics and carbon nanomaterials. He continued his postdoctoral studies at the Department of Chemistry at Stanford University where he studied the behaviour of multicopper oxidases and he focused on the oxygen reduction reaction. Federico Tasca is now assistant professor at the Department of Chemistry of Materials of the University of Santiago of Chile. He is the director of one Fondecyt Grant and of one Dycit Grant. He has published more than 25 papers in reputed journals in the field of electrochemistry, electrocatalysis coordination chemistry and bioelectrocatalysis.
